frequently asked questions

What is your turnaround time for the photo gallery?

For weddings, you will receive a sneak-peek gallery within 48 hours! Then the full gallery will be delivered within 6 weeks.

For sessions, you will receive your full gallery within 4 weeks.

What is your style like?

My style has evolved over time to become classic, timeless, real, and emotive. I think it’s so important to tell the story that is unique to you. I don’t put all of my clients in a list of poses and make every session look the same. Instead, I get to know you - either over zoom, a catch up, or through my questionnaire. Once I have gotten to know you, I tailor the session to tell your story - whether that is choosing a location special to you or doing a fun activity unique to you!

Where are you based? Do you travel?

I’m based in Canberra, Australia! I will travel anywhere and everywhere.

How do I choose a location?

If you already have a location in mind, that’s great! Otherwise, I have many different tried and true locations I can give as suggestions. Whether its a farmy, urban, woodlands, or river-side vibe - you can choose whichever one suits you!

How many people can be in a session?

There can be up to 7 people in a session! To go beyond 7 people, there is an additional cost.

What should I wear?

The most important aspect of your outfit should be comfort! Choose earthy, natural colours and stay away from bold patterns or big logos. Think about the location of your session - what would be a natural outfit for this location? (Eg. high heels in a paddock aren’t ideal!) Feel free to send me pics and ask for advice as you choose what to wear!

I also have an outfit guide specifically crafted to help you with choosing what to wear! Once we’ve booked in your session, I’ll send it through to you.

“Hi Ruby, can’t believe how quick you were - you’re amazing! We looked through your pics this evening and are absolutely in love. Your photos are stunning and so so beautiful! We can’t thank you enough for capturing these memories for photos we’ll look at and remember forever.”
